Hi John,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to our Blog!
To answer your question, you may check-out our About tab and our home page http://www.sealifebase.org/home/pages/index.htm. While we do have similarities with EoL, SeaLifeBase is more dedicated to providing more in-depth information for marine organisms, and we do this by manually exhausting information from published literature and by collaborating with experts and country/regional biodiversity websites. We are more related to FishBase, and while they have the most comprehensive information for fishes, we aim to accomplish that equally but this time for all non-finfish marine organisms.
Thank you for your interest. We hope you find our website useful.
Cheers!
